Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) San Francisco, CA. This position involves providing outpatient occupational therapy services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. Job Details

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Hand Therapist Certification (CHT), and American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) certification for Hand/Upper Extremity. Education includes a Masters or higher degree in Occupational Therapy with at least 3 years of outpatient experience, including hand clinic experience. CA license in hand required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as trauma level I or II experience, and previous charge experience are preferred.
  • Patient Ratio Experience: Not specified.
  • Charting System Experience: Epic.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Performing evaluations, gait assessment, functional splints, manual therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, biofeedback, and patient/family education. The role involves managing post-op hand and upper extremity orthoses, acute fracture protocols, and therapeutic exercises.
  • Additional Information: Float to other facilities within the specified radius may be required. Orientation hours include 24 hours prior to start. Must submit two professional references and work history related to employment with university-affiliated medical facilities if applicable.
