Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to 7-9 patients per day, primarily in a skilled nursing facility setting with potential to float to inpatient acute care.
• Deliver patient care following common diagnosis protocols such as CVA, TKA, THA, and COPD.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records using the Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Participate in floor-specific orientation and adhere to scrubs color requirements.
• Cover required areas including A, B, C, and D stations, including two weekend days a month as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Experience in inpatient settings preferred; ability to float to different units as needed.
• Ability to meet facility credentialing requirements and adhere to policies.
• Commitment to continued professional development and high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
