Job Summary:
Wound Care Nurse New York. This position involves conducting health assessments focused on wound, ostomy, and continence care. The role includes developing care plans, evaluating patient responses, educating patients and staff, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of quality wound care services.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift with 4 shifts per week, each lasting 10 hours, including every other weekend.
  • Required Qualifications: Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program; New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License; Primary source verification of license and registration from the NYS Department of Education; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); Current certification in one of the following: Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN), Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC).; 2 years of Med/Surg experience; Wound and Colostomy experience.
