The Registered Nurse (RN) – Transplant is a specialized nurse responsible for providing care to patients undergoing organ transplant procedures, both pre- and post-transplant. This role involves managing the complex medical needs of transplant patients, ensuring that they receive optimal care throughout the transplant process. The RN in this role will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and their families about the transplant process, and monitor for complications during recovery. This position requires knowledge of transplant medicine, immunosuppressive therapy, and the long-term management of transplant recipients.
