    Job Title

    Travel RN – Medical Telemetry (Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups on a 32-bed medical telemetry unit
    • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
    • Maintain professional accountability for the provision of direct patient care, including drug titration, and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers
    • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
    • Operate and manage unit equipment including telemetry monitors, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps, and lift equipment within the EPIC EMR system
    • Float on a rotational basis as required; orient on day shift prior to transitioning to night shift schedule
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri RN licensure
    • Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • NIHSS certification (may be submitted without, but must be obtained prior to assignment start)
    • Demonstrated experience and competence in drug titration
    • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1 (declinations not accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for medical, medical telemetry, and respiratory patient populations
    • Determined, decisive, and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced inpatient environment
