    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups, including post-trauma, surgical, and medical comorbidity patients
    • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
    • Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers
    • Operate unit equipment including Alaris pumps, telemetry monitors, and lift equipment within a 32-bed cardiac/med-surg unit
    • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines
    • Float on a rotational basis as required by unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or hold an active Missouri RN license
    • Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • 4 trauma credits required; must be completed within the first two weeks of assignment if not already obtained
    • NIHSS certification required prior to start date (may be submitted without, but must be obtained before beginning)
    • Demonstrated experience and competence in drug titration
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Inpatient trauma experience
    • Determined, decisive, and flexible work style with ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical/telemetry environment
