    Travel RN – Medical Telemetry (Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups across medical, medical telemetry, and observation populations
    • Monitor telemetry and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
    • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and maintain professional accountability
    • Perform drug titration and manage IV pumps, tube feeding pumps, lift equipment, and telemetry monitoring equipment
    • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable nursing practice standards
    • Float on a rotational basis as required by unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license
    • Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience
    • Demonstrated experience and competence in drug titration
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • NIHSS certification (may be submitted without, but must be obtained prior to assignment start)
    • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-acuity inpatient telemetry environment
    • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
    • Determined, decisive, and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced unit environment
