Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care on the PCU/Telemetry unit
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry or PCU nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a fast-paced PCU or step-down telemetry environment
- Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and protocols
