Travel RN – Acute Care / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Highlands, North Carolina

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Projected Start: May 19, 2026

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Acute Care / Telemetry unit serving a diverse inpatient population including geriatric and swing bed patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Perform and assist with wound care and other minor unit-based procedures
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Deliver concierge-level patient experience consistent with the expectations of an affluent community hospital setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in an environment with variable tech and unit secretary availability

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Telemetry or Acute Care
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Experience caring for geriatric patients or prior inpatient rehabilitation / swing bed patient population
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
• Ability to manage patient ratios of up to 6–7:1 independently

• Current ACLS certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Advanced wound care skills and experience with standard Med/Surg equipment
