Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
- Utilize professional and supervisory discretion in all patient care decisions
- Support and participate in an Epic EMR conversion and ongoing Epic charting environment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Recent Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; proficiency in both systems required
- Each work history entry must identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems are listed for one position, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS accepted)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Candidates must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or held a staff employee position
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
