Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit, a dynamic 22-bed unit that specializes in a diverse patient population including cardiac, respiratory, surgical, and mental health cases. This critical role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care that makes a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Pay: $2,532 Weekly 
Shift: 7am - 7:30pm
Contract: 13 Weeks

Required Skills

• Active and valid RN license in New York
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with respiratory or surgical nursing
• Knowledge of mental health care practices
• Basic life support (BLS) certification from AHA (required)

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
• Prior experience working in a hospital environment, particularly in cardiac or surgical units

Other Requirements

• AHA BLS certification required

• Ability to work shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm

• Willingness to adapt to a fast-changing clinical setting
