Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Chandler, AZ

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care across Telemetry, Cardiovascular Telemetry, Neuro Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units, including floating between units and campuses as needed
• Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Dobutamine, and Cardizem per protocol
• Interpret EKGs and monitor patients via centralized telemetry systems
• Care for a diverse patient population including post-cath lab, post-vascular procedures, CABG patients, neuro post-surgical, CVA post-TPA, and general Medical-Surgical patients including ortho, surgical, and oncology
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3–4 on Telemetry units and 1:4 on Medical-Surgical units
• Participate in floor-specific orientation and complete required competency assessments prior to and at the start of assignment

• Active RN licensure (or compact license) valid in Arizona
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated ability to titrate cardiac drips
• Ability to interpret EKGs and manage dysrhythmias
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract start (maximum of 2 attempts within 48 hours of offer)
• Must pass a Simulation Lab assessment on the first day of orientation

• NIHSS certification (required for Neuro Telemetry unit placement)
• Prior experience in a high-acuity telemetry or cardiovascular nursing environment
• Experience floating across multiple unit types including ICU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical
• Familiarity with GE monitoring systems and centralized telemetry platforms

• Work within a well-supported clinical environment featuring 24/7 respiratory therapy, 24/7 pharmacy coverage, charge nurses without patient assignments, and dedicated PCT support
• Gain broad clinical exposure across multiple specialty units including Cardiovascular Telemetry, Neuro Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical with ortho, surgical, and oncology populations
