Care for a diverse patient population including post-cath lab, post-vascular procedures, post-CABG, CVA/post-TPA, neuro post-surgical, spine, and general Medical-Surgical patients. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care across Telemetry, Cardiovascular Telemetry, Neuro Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units, including floating between units and campuses as needed.

Interpret EKGs and monitor centralized telemetry for assigned patients
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, and Dobutamine (titrating down only)
Care for a diverse patient population including post-cath lab, post-vascular procedures, post-CABG, CVA/post-TPA, neuro post-surgical, spine, and general Medical-Surgical patients
Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Adhere to weekend rotation requirements and float to similar or lower acuity units as directed
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure in good standing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Demonstrated ability to titrate cardiac drips
Ability to interpret EKGs and identify dysrhythmias (dysrhythmia exam required prior to contract start; maximum 2 attempts)
Ability to pass a Simulation Lab competency assessment on day one of orientation
Willingness and ability to float between multiple units and campuses, including mid-shift as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
NIHSS certification (required for Neuro Telemetry unit assignments)
Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Telemetry, Neuro Telemetry, or Medical-Surgical setting
Familiarity with GE monitoring systems and centralized telemetry platforms
Experience caring for post-surgical, oncology, or orthopedic patient populations
