    Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

    Location

    Aurora, Colorado

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit serving a large cardiac population across Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit floors
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 on day shift, delivering safe and compassionate nursing care
    • Utilize electronic medical records system (Meditech / CPN) to document and manage patient information
    • Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
    • Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
    • Perform varied procedures supporting both acute and chronic medical conditions across multiple unit types
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Telemetry hospital experience (2 years preferred)
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Willingness and ability to float to multiple inpatient units
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Strong Telemetry background with demonstrated cardiac care competency
    • Chemotherapy Certification (candidates with this credential may be scheduled on the Oncology unit)
    • Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment with varied patient populations
