Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit with a strong focus on neurological patient populations
- Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout night shifts, responding appropriately to changes in status
- Accurately document patient care activities using electronic charting systems
- Participate in facility orientation, including completion of required online modules during the orientation period
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Telemetry or relevant service line
- Strong Neuro nursing experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Must be located outside a 150-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not accepted)
- Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year prior to returning as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Altera electronic charting system
- Prior travel nursing assignments in similar acute care settings
