Job Title: RN - Cardiac Profession: Nursing Specialty: Agency Staff RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License - State of Michigan Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification Must-Have: Telemetry trained Relevant work history with cardiac dysrhythmias Experience in congestive heart failure management Experience in post-op cath lab recovery Ability to take 4-5 patients Description: Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes. Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 21, 2024. Bachelor's Degree in Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2016.
