License: Pending licenses accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Epic experience is required. Description: Position involves Telemetry nursing with the ability to work in a med/surg environment. The shift consists of three 12-hour night shifts. Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Weekend shifts are required, working every other weekend. No on-call requirements exist for this position. Candidates will float within the facility and may assist in other departments as needed. No block scheduling accommodations can be made. This position is not open to local applicants beyond a specified radius. The hospital operates as an acute care and teaching facility. Total staffed beds in the facility are 317. Candidate duties will include monitoring patients via telemetry and managing a variety of critical care procedures. Special skills required include management of cardiac tele, intravenous insulin protocols, and care for patients with various complex conditions. Additional requirements include experience with central line care, chest tubes, and various surgical and medical procedures. Candidates will provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations. Interdisciplinary support is available in areas such as physical therapy and respiratory services. All candidates are required to submit references as part of the hiring process.
