The Registered Nurse (RN) focuses on safe, effective patient and family-centered care. The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit. The RN promotes their own development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members. The RN has the responsibility to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care. The RN focuses on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction. The RN applies their educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care. The RN also mentors and precepts staff. Job Responsibilities: Performs assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as warranted by patient condition. Demonstrates ability to make sound independent decisions.
