Floating required within the specialty and to lower acuity as needed
Description:
Traveler may request one of the three major holidays.
36 or 48-hour shift options available.
Experience with a patient ratio of 5-6.
MD RN license is required.
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
CPI certification is also necessary.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Travel experience is required.
Experience with charting systems is preferred.
Candidates should have skills in managing cardiac tele, blood product administration, and interpreting dysrhythmias.
Responsibility includes managing and administering IVs, oxygen, and various drips.
Telemetry and on-unit monitoring will be part of the duties.
Daily patient census ranges from adolescents to geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy and respiratory services.
Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope without restrictions or special requests.
Return travelers must be away for at least 6 months after their last assignment.
Most locations will allow for one contract and one extension before a break is required.
