Description:
This position involves providing direct patient care activities for all age groups.
Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
You will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort.
You will function within the scope of nursing preparation and established guidelines of nursing practice.
Key accountabilities include maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
You must evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
The role entails significant standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting, with potential exposure to blood and body fluids.
Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs., as well as kneeling and crouching minimally.
You will utilize the nursing process to provide care for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
You are expected to perform duties consistently with established service standards.
The position requires flexibility to work differing schedules, shifts, or days of the week according to patient care requirements.
