Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience. Candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Description: This is a travel RN position specializing in Telemetry. The shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM. The unit has 29 beds and is staffed by 8 team members. During the day shift, there are 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians. The night shift consists of 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians. The patient ratio is estimated at 1:6, but this is never guaranteed. The unit is equipped with PCA pumps and IV pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should have experience with central lines and medication drips. A positive attitude and engagement are key traits that are desired. Independent and strong critical thinking skills are essential. Patient care experience is a priority in this role.
