Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel nursing opportunity for a TravelRegistered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) in Rochester, NY. This assignment offers a weekly blended rate of $2,600, based on three 12-hour rotating day, evening, and night shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
  • Provide expert, high-acuity care to post-surgical and trauma patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
  • Manage ventilators, invasive lines, and vasoactive medication infusions
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
  • Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer medications, blood products, and treatments per physician orders
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with hospital and ICU standards
  • Educate and support patients and families through complex recovery processes
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
  • Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in SICU or Critical Care
