Job Title: Travel Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Transplant Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description: Take on an exciting 13-week travel assignment at Jewish Hospital (JHHS) in Louisville, KY! We are seeking an experienced PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurse for night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) on our 28-bed specialized transplant and renal unit. Gain specialized training in organ transplant care while working alongside a dedicated 24/7 clinical team—apply today!

Contract Details:

  • Target Start Date: 08/31/2026
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks.
  • Shift: 3x12-hour Nights (18:45–07:15). Simplifi clinical interview required.
  • Commitment: Every other weekend required. Holiday commitment includes 2 summer and 2 winter holidays. Note: No block scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent step-down experience (first-time travelers welcome!). Strong background in cardiac drips, renal/dialysis care, chest tubes, and complex wound drains.
  • Systems:Cerner EMR experience required.
  • Certifications: Active AHA BLS and NIHSS required at submittal (CPI required and provided on-site).
  • Licensure: Active Kentucky RN license or compact license in hand.
  • Dress Code: Galaxy Blue scrubs.
