Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - Stepdown to join a fast-paced Intermediate Care (IMC) unit in Salisbury, MD. This travel position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on providing high acuity care to critically ill patients. As an IMC RN, you will share responsibilities with the ICU unit, handling a range of patients who require continuous monitoring and specialized care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown
  • Manage high acuity patients requiring continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring
  • Intervene quickly to changes in hemodynamics or respiratory demands
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Advocate and educate patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the ICU unit for shared patient management

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown
  • At least 2 years of ICU experience; IMC/PCU experience is a plus
  • MD RN or compact license
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • Candidate's permanent address must be outside of 100 miles of the facility
