Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Henderson, Kentucky.

Travel Stepdown/Telemetry RN | Nights | 13-Week Contract

Join a supportive, experienced team at a well-established Stepdown/Telemetry unit!

Location: Henderson, KY
Specialty: Stepdown / Telemetry RN
Shift: Nights | 3x12s
Contract: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 2 years of RN experience (including 1 year of Stepdown/PCU experience)
✅ At least 1 previous travel assignment
✅ Active Compact RN License
✅ AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
✅ Recent EPIC experience required
✅ Must pass telemetry interpretation testing

Required Skills:

  • Telemetry interpretation
  • Titration of insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Experience caring for Stepdown/PCU patients

Patient Population:

  • Sepsis
  • CHF & COPD
  • DKA
  • Cirrhosis
  • Dementia
  • Post-op Urology, Abdominal & Orthopedic patients

Highlights:

  • 36 guaranteed hours (48-hour contracts available upon request)
  • Excellent teamwork with experienced nursing staff
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation
  • Floating within skill set may include nearby affiliated campuses
  • Teaching hospital with opportunities to precept students and new hires
  • Navy blue scrubs
