Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation (MS REHAB) is needed for a facility located in Nashua, New Hampshire. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within the rehabilitation unit and floating to medical-surgical units as needed. The position aims to support patient recovery through adherence to clinical standards and collaborative practice.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current New Hampshire RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum 1 year of nursing experience, familiarity with rehabilitation or medical-surgical nursing preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Basic Dysrhythmia certification or willing to obtain prior to completion of orientation, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training preferred or obtained prior to the end of orientation
- Additional Information:
- Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid
- Position may involve float to medical-surgical units if not needed in the rehab unit
- The RN supports compliance with unit competencies, safety initiatives, and quality improvement programs
- Preceptor duties for new staff and participation in safety and performance initiatives are expected
- The role involves timely documentation, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
