Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor is sought for a facility located in Northport, Alabama. This position involves providing patient-centered care in a rehabilitation setting, supporting patients recovering from stroke, hip fractures, or pulmonary conditions to regain independence and functional ability. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and flexibility to float across units and hospitals.

Job Details:

Location: Northport, Alabama
Schedule: Night shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Alabama or a valid Compact license (with no temporary licenses accepted)
- Associated degree in nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Two years of experience preferred; 18 months of experience may be considered if under the highest level of professional license and with at least 1 year of recent experience in this specialty
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the field of specialty
Additional Information:
- Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals as needed
- Holidays are required as specified, with every other weekend working required
- Potential for 36 or 48 hours per week
- The facility requires a solid navy scrubs dress code
- Parking available on-site
