Job Title: Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Location: Coushatta, Louisiana

Pay: $82/hour

Shifts: Nights 7PM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation for a travel assignment in Coushatta, Louisiana. This role involves coordinating and implementing patient care in a dynamic clinical setting, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of quality care in line with the unit's standards and the organization's overall mission.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation
  • Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Re-assess patients systematically to track progress and trends requiring intervention
  • Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care within the Nursing Standards of Care time frame
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcome evaluations
  • Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients/significant others
  • Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care
  • Perform various Point of Care testing procedures

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience with the age/type of patient population served
  • Effective communication skills appropriate to developmental age of patients
