Job Title: Rehabilitation Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 - 18:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience Description: Completion bonuses available upon fulfilling contract requirements. Must complete the full 13-week contract with satisfactory attendance to qualify for the bonus. Seeking candidates with Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience. This position involves working in a free-standing acute inpatient rehabilitation facility. The focus is on rehabilitation for individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The goal is to assist patients in achieving their highest level of recovery and a timely return home. The facility is dedicated to maximizing health, function, and quality of life for those served. Accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Patient population includes adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high acuity needs. Staff members will be required to assist with tasks such as answering call lights for patient safety. Mandatory breakdowns include two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid break during shifts. Attendance and punctuality are monitored closely according to internal policies. Staff are not permitted to stay past scheduled shift times without supervisor approval. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:7. Essential equipment includes mobility equipment and machines for vital signs monitoring. Electronic health record system used is EPIC. This position may involve rotating weekend shifts and holiday coverage. Potential future floating to a nearby facility may be required.
