    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in the operating room, supporting surgical teams throughout perioperative procedures
    • Perform first assist duties including tissue handling, hemostasis, wound closure, and other intraoperative tasks under the direction of the surgeon
    • Provide pre- and post-operative patient assessment and care coordination within the perioperative setting
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the facility's electronic health record system
    • Adhere to facility dress code, scheduling requirements, and unit-specific protocols throughout the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of current, relevant experience as an RN First Assist
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
    • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required
    • Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification required
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Must have personal reliable transportation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system highly preferred
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Operating Room and First Assist skills as evidenced by a current (within 1 year) skills checklist
