Description:
The position involves working in the operating room as a Registered Nurse First Assistant.
Candidates must have experience in various surgical specialties, including general, gynecology, neuro, orthopedic, vascular, and robotic surgeries.
Responsibilities include assisting surgeons during procedures, managing surgical instruments, and ensuring patient safety.
The RNFA will participate in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care of patients.
Aseptic technique and familiarity with surgical protocols are essential.
Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
It is important to be a team player and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
The role does not require floating to other units.
Weekends and on-call duties are not required.
