Job Title: Cardiac OR RNFA Profession: RN Specialty: RNFA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience License: NYS RN license Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, CNOR Must-Have: - Ability to assist with chest exposure and closing - Experience performing vein harvesting for CABGs - Preferable, but not required: first assisting in DaVinci robotic cases - Preferable, but not required: capability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases - Experience in heart transplant is preferred Description: Cardiac RNFA position available for 36 or 48 hours per week. Primarily weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. On-call responsibilities may be required based on unit needs. Candidates must have comprehensive knowledge in cardiac procedures. This includes performing vein harvesting for CABGs. Experience with complex cardiac cases such as CABGs, structural heart cases, and minimally invasive procedures is expected. Ability to participate in heart transplant procedures is a plus. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
