About the Position

We are actively hiring an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) for one of our clients, a leading cardiovascular surgery team in Lansing, MI. This role involves assisting in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries within a fast-paced Acute Care OR setting.

You will work closely with cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, playing a critical role in surgical procedures and patient care.

Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
Location: Lansing, MI 48912
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Pay Range: weekly ($2400 – $2500)

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure surgical safety standards
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Participate in the on-call rotation

Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Requirements

Certification:

• Active Michigan RN License
• Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA)
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS

Experience:

• Min 2 yeas of Acute Care OR experience required
• Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Skills Required:
