Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required in similar settings. License: Valid nursing license in the state or compact state required at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: Experience with Epic charting system is essential. Description: This position is focused on MRI and CT for outpatients. Nursing responsibilities include starting IVs for MRI and CT and performing POCT testing. The nurse is responsible for checking patient medications, vital signs, lab results, and history to ensure safe progression of the planned study. The nurse must respond to any IV infiltration, contrast reactions, patient falls, or patient safety events. There is an emphasis on patient and team member safety when entering the MRI magnet. MRI Full Stop training is required. Diagnostic Imaging Radiology experience and progressive care background are preferred. Candidates must be willing to float within their scope of practice if needed. Completion of required modules during orientation is mandatory. A BSN is preferred.
