• Position: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)
• Setting: Inpatient Adult Behavioral Health Unit

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Patient Population: Adults ages 18+ with behavioral health needs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• Behavioral health nursing or psychiatric RN experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• CPI certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days of start
• Strong communication, de-escalation, and therapeutic relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient psychiatric environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult psychiatric and behavioral health patients
• Complete comprehensive physical and behavioral health assessments
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Support a therapeutic milieu and respond appropriately to behavioral escalations
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Document nursing care, patient progress, and plan-of-care updates accurately
• Promote dignity, respect, patient advocacy, and trauma-informed care at all times
• Use de-escalation techniques to maintain safety for patients, visitors, and staff
