Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The RN will provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patients with behavioral and mental health needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide and coordinate nursing care for behavioral health patients
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians and care teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Support discharge planning and educate patients and families
- Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Delegate tasks appropriately and support team collaboration
- Deliver compassionate, recovery-focused care across diverse patient populations
