Travel Nurse RN - Psych - $20 to $21 per hour in Westfield, PA

Job Description:

Position: Travel Psych RN
Location: Westfield, PA
Duration: 13+ weeks (possible extension)
Shift: Night Shift – 12 hours (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), rotating weekends

Job Details:

• Orientation: 2–3 days of classroom training (day shift), followed by 3 shadow shifts (can be night shift), along with mandatory HealthStream modules
• Patient Ratio:
• Detox Unit: 1:7
• Residential Unit: 1:24
• Staffing includes 1 BHT per shift and up to 1 BHA per shift
• Therapeutic staff ratio: 1:8 (until 5:00 PM)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current psychiatric (psych) or relevant experience required
• SNF or Home Health experience will not be considered
• Must be flexible to float between units as needed

About the Facility:
This inpatient behavioral health facility currently has 64 beds, with plans to expand to 94 beds. It provides both acute and residential treatment services for adult patients. The facility includes two units: a detox unit and a residential treatment unit, and accepts both voluntary and involuntary admissions. Support staff includes BHAs, BHTs, and clinical therapeutic teams.
