Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Wausau, WI. The RN will provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to adult and adolescent behavioral health patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

This position requires floating between the Adult and Youth Behavioral Health units on the same campus based on census and staffing needs. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and skilled in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

• Provide direct nursing care to behavioral health patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Utilize therapeutic communication and crisis intervention techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR.
