Pay: $2,041.20 weekly

Shifts: Variable, including every other weekend

Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled Child Psych Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. This role focuses on providing exceptional care to children aged 3-10 with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a busy clinical environment. Key Responsibilities of the Psych Registered Nurse - Child Psych
  • Provide care to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Manage challenging behaviors through effective de-escalation techniques
  • Communicate effectively with families to update them on patient status
  • Ensure adherence to care plans and promote good hygiene practices
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient care

Requirements of the Psych Registered Nurse - Child Psych
  • BLS and CPI certifications (CPI can be obtained on site)
  • Experience in managing child and adolescent patients, minimum 6 months
  • Comfortable with multitasking and staying calm in agitated situations
  • Proficiency in using EMR (Cerner) and medication dispensing systems (Omnicell)
