Must-Have:
- Experience with adult behavioral health patients, particularly geriatric psychiatry and bipolar disorder.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and meet weekend requirements.
Description:
This is a 26-bed inpatient adult behavioral health department.
The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6.
Knowledge of physical restraint protocols and seclusion room procedures is important.
The unit does not have dedicated monitor technicians, and RNs will not be reading strips.
Candidates must be prepared to work weekends, at least every third weekend.
Holiday shifts are also required.
Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
Knowledge of electronic charting systems, specifically EPIC, is advantageous.
