Job Title: RN - Behavioral Health Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, CPI Certification or Calm Every Storm Certification Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - BLS - CPI Certification or Calm Every Storm Certification - 1 year of current Behavioral Health experience Description: This travel RN position focuses on behavioral health. The unit has a total of 120 beds. There are 50 staff members working on this unit. Day shift and night shift RNs and mental health technicians are part of the team. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:8 or 1:9, both days and nights. This position offers typical hiring profiles that emphasize flexibility and teamwork. Candidates with strong inpatient behavioral health experience are preferred. The role includes responsibilities such as admissions and discharges. Lead RN resources classes are provided. RNs may float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed. This is a supportive environment where teamwork is highly valued.
