Job Title: Registered Nurse (Behavioral Healthcare Provider) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 52 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Licensed Registered Nurse Certifications: Certificate of Authority as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Must-Have: Strong experience in behavioral healthcare Description: The Behavioral Healthcare Provider develops, coordinates, implements, and provides interdisciplinary services related to health and illness. This role applies behavioral and biomedical science knowledge to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Independently provides behavioral healthcare services within a credentialed scope of practice. Acts as a lead worker for lower-level healthcare providers. Independently develops and implements treatment plans for clients. Coordinates admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans for clients' care cycles. Provides interventions for clients with acute and complex needs. Handles cases with numerous factors and provides crisis intervention. Participates in establishing, implementing, and directing healthcare programs and treatment system objectives. Develops and designs treatment intervention techniques and procedures. Evaluates and modifies treatment systems to respond to client progress and behavior changes. Evaluates performance of lower-level providers in administering treatment plans. Maintains necessary documentation to satisfy federal, state, and local requirements. Serves as an active member of treatment teams, training sessions, and departmental meetings. Establishes and maintains working relationships with various facilities and support services. Coordinates referrals and conducts follow-up services.
