The unit has mixed acuity, caring for both Med Surg and Advanced Care patients.

The unit has mixed acuity, caring for both Med Surg and Advanced Care patients. It primarily manages blood products and chemotherapy patients. Nurses administer chemotherapy with ONS certification. Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but can vary from 1:5 to 1:6 based on acuity. Travelers must work every other weekend and holiday. Travelers will float as needed, supporting the nursing care team. Previous Charge experience and community hospital experience are preferred. Candidates must be comfortable with various levels of patient acuity.
