Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 License: Registered Nurse License in hand required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Experience with patient ratios of 5 Travel experience required Description: July start date strongly preferred. May be asked to float to another floor or campus. Must be flexible. Must live 150 miles or more from the facility. Experience with post-surgical care, cardiac drips, and chest tubes required. Daily patient ratios for night shift are 5. Weekend coverage is required with 6 weekend shifts per each 6-week schedule. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Charting system experience is required. PICC line management and telemetry experience are necessary. Skills in managing cardiac and vasoactive drips are required. Candidates must be available to complete necessary lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer. Experience with Altera charting preferred but not required. Candidates should avoid anything that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival. All requirements must be fulfilled prior to start.
