Job Details

Seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for the Transitional Surgical Unit. Candidates must have recent EPIC experience and at least 2 years of specialty experience — no exceptions.

  • Shift: 12-hour Nights
  • Weekly Hours: 36
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3
  • Unit Size: 6–10 Beds
  • Charting System: Cerner
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
  • Float Requirement: None
  • Interview Process: Auto Offer
  • Schedule Restrictions:
    • Maximum 3 days RTO
    • No block scheduling
Common Patient Diagnoses
  • Hemorrhagic & ischemic strokes
  • Seizures
  • Brain tumors
  • CNS infections
Required Skills & Procedures
  • Lumbar puncture care
  • Management of lumbar drains
  • External ventricular device management
Submission Requirements

  • RN License Number & Expiration Date
  • Certifications with expiration dates

  • All RTO included at submission (post-submission requests will not be approved)
Scheduling & Weekend Requirements
  • Every other weekend required
  • Every 3rd holiday required
Overtime Policy
  • No overtime shifts permitted for travel RNs
  • Incidental overtime is not approved
  • Meal breaks are required and must be taken during scheduled times
