Job Title: Surgical ICU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Surgical ICU experience At least 2 previous travel assignments License: RN License Certifications: BLS Preferred: Critical Care Certification, Trauma Course, ACLS Must-Have: Strong Surgical ICU experience Description: This position is in the Surgical ICU. Candidates must have experience with ICU patients and post-surgical patients. Patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedic spine, and general surgery. Weekend coverage required for 3 out of 6 weekends in a 6-week schedule. Availability for 2 on-call shifts in a 6-week schedule is necessary. Holidays may be required as needed.
