Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient RN experience License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Two (2) years of acute care RN experience Description: A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) focuses on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit, promoting personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. The RN supervises both licensed and non-licensed staff members. Applying the caring processes of a recognized model of care, the RN assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care. The RN emphasizes patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction. The RN applies educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting staff.
