The nurse will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will manage a patient load of 1:5. Candidates must have experience with cardiac telemetry and managing complex patients. Essential skills include central line care, telemetry interpretation, and administering blood products. Candidates will provide care for patients with conditions such as CVA, renal failure, and post-operative recovery. The nurse will work closely with other healthcare professionals including respiratory services and pharmacy. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Compliance with infection control protocols is required. The role includes a commitment to working every other weekend.
