Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience in Progressive Care License: Active KY or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - 2 years of current Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience - Required certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH - Active KY or compact license Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of current experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Progressive Care. The patient ratio is typically 1:5 to 1:6. Experience with Meditech EMR is required. Floating within the scope of practice is required. Every other weekend availability is necessary. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. Orientation occurs bi-weekly, and start date is aligned with the job order. Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered. Submission packets must include all required documents. Candidates should be prepared to provide two references, one from a Charge Nurse or Higher and one from a supervisor. Must also be willing to accept an 84-hour work schedule per two-week pay period. Both major and minor holidays must be covered in the schedule.
