Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, including 1 year of travel experience. License: Current and valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry test, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Current critical care and telemetry experience. Description: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required. Utility bill in the traveler's name with matching address within the last three months is required. Address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility. Documents must include a driver's license and utility bill with submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Experience in an Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, or Stepdown Unit is required. Candidates must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidates may float to sister facilities as needed. First-time travelers will not be accepted. Experience with a patient ratio of 4:1 is preferred. Charge experience is preferred but not required. Preferred charting system experience with Epic. Responsibilities include managing and caring for various medical conditions. Experience with telemetry and monitoring essential. Candidates must demonstrate competency in essential nursing skills. Floating to other areas or facilities may be required. All candidates must maintain a professional demeanor at all times. References and certifications should be valid and included with applications.
